Hi Sarah. Everything's running fine.

Your fibre is humming along, your bill is sorted, and the kids are still complaining the Wi-Fi is too slow even though it isn't. Standard Tuesday.

Heads up: tree work on Highway 33 next Tuesday
Hydro crews are clearing limbs near the cabinet that feeds your block. We don't expect downtime, but if it happens it'll be between 9 AM and 1 PM.

Need a hand with anything?

A real person from Quinte West picks up the phone. No phone tree, no hold music, no "did you try restarting your router". Well, sometimes that one.

Stuff people ask us

The questions that come up most often, with answers from the techs who actually do the install work.

Why is one corner of the house slower?
Usually a node placement thing. Your basement Eero is sitting behind the furnace, which is a wall of metal between it and the rec room. Move it to the top of the stairs and you'll see a jump. Happy to send a tech out to figure out the best spot.
My speed test says less than what I'm paying for.
Most browser speed tests cap at 1 Gbps because they're built for the average plan. Your 1.5G shows up properly on a wired test from a laptop with a 2.5 GbE port. Or just trust the test our router runs every Friday morning, that one's accurate.
How do I switch my email autopay card?
Click the bill card up top, then "Payment method", then "Add new card". Old one stays as backup until you delete it. Takes 30 seconds. We don't store the full number, just the last four.
Can I get a static IP for my workshop?
You already have one, included with Fibre 1.5G. It's 142.182.18.94, listed under "Advanced" if you ever flip into Power view. If you want a separate one for a second line, that's $5/mo on top.
